Augusta is gearing up for its third annual Kelley Bros Sticks & Strings concert and golf tournament this November to combine three loves – music, golf and family.
Joining brothers John, Josh and Charles Kelley, on stage this year will be Brett Young, Randy Houser, Chris Baron of the Spin Doctors, Ryan Hurd, Bryce Leatherwood, Megan Davis Campbell and Patrick Davis with His Midnight Choir as the house band backs up all the artists.
Created to raise money for the community, Sticks & Strings has quickly become a “can’t miss” event each November.
“Sharing the joy Charles, Josh and I have always gotten from playing music and golf with our community is as fun as we hoped it would be,” John Kelley said. “And being able to give back to charities that are meaningful to us in the Augusta community takes this event from a good time to a great time.”
The concert portion of the event will be hosted at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center, located at 7016 Evans Town Center Blvd. on Nov. 17, while the golf tournament will be held at Champions Retreat, at 37 Champions Parkway, on Nov. 18.
“We could not be more thrilled that this event has taken off and become a staple for our friends and families,” said John Kelley.
Proceeds from the event will benefit charities in the three areas that were major influences in the Kelley brothers’ lives: golf, music and healthcare.
Money collected will be donated to Augusta’s First Tee, the Bands of Christmas and the John W. Kelley, of the Cardiovascular endowment at the Piedmont Augusta Foundation.
Tickets are going on sale Friday, Sept. 27, starting at 10 a.m. and range from $59-159. Those interested can add on a VIP reception for $150.
