The Augusta Technical College Den of Distinction Committee has announced the fourth class of inductees to the Den of Distinction.
The Den of Distinction celebrates alumni who have succeeded in technical education and represent the college’s vision and values.
The inductees are:
- Charlie Bowles, human resources/safety director, Two State Construction
- Joshua Braswell, Office of Fulton County Attorney and vice president Georgia Association of Paralegals
- Consuella Carter, director of Professional Learning Educational Training Services, LLC
- Peter Claus, vice president & chief information officer, Textron Specialized Vehicles
- Christina Clutter, owner/operator, Grow Pediatric Therapy and Group Services, LLC and occupational therapy assistant
- Maria Hernandez Cook, SE Outreach Representative, United States Senate for Office of Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock
- Gwendolyn Jackson, director, Burke County Library
- Susan Johnson, president and CEO, The 1790 Club
- James Lakeman, president, Glasslined Technologies, Inc.
- Michael Violette, site services human capital manager, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions
“The college community is excited to celebrate these 10 alumni who have displayed excellence within the community and within their professions,” College President Dr. Jermaine Whirl said. “We look forward to saluting them in celebration of their personal and professional accomplishments.”
The recipients will be recognized on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m. on the Augusta Campus in the Jack B. Patrick Information Technology Center Auditorium. This event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased online for $20.
