Augusta Technical College (ATC) has recently announced that Katrell Nash, Derric Terrentine and Jon Dollan have been elected to the institution’s Board of Directors.

Nash is locally known to be the owner of Nash Law Office, LLC, in Augusta, where her business specializes in Criminal Law, Family Law and Juvenile Law.

Her firm also serves on the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Attorney Panel to represent indigent persons in the U.S. District Court for Southern District of Georgia, as conflict counsel to indigent persons prosecuted in the State and Civil & Magistrate Courts of Richmond County, according to a press release from Augusta Tech.

“I am elated to join the Augusta Technical College family. I look forward to serving on the board to advance transformative programs, promote inclusivity, and support partnerships that enhance this stellar institution for the students, faculty and staff,” said Nash.

Nash holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law. Among many other extracurriculars, she is also a current board member for the American Red Cross East Central Region; a board member for the CSRA Economic Opportunity Authority; and a creator/presenter of #KnowYourRights, a free presentation which seeks to educate youth ages 11 to 18 about their legal rights.

He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Studies/National Security Affairs from the Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico.

“I am honored and blessed to be a member of Augusta Technical College’s Board of Directors. It is an amazing opportunity to contribute to the outstanding work that the faculty, staff and President Whirl are providing to the CSRA community through excellence in educational programs and building a workforce for the region’s current and future needs,” he said. “It’s all about giving back to the community.”
