Augusta Technical College is extending the nomination period for the prestigious 2025 Den of Distinction Alumni Awards, a program that honors alumni for their remarkable professional achievements, community service and support of the College.
The extended nomination deadline will now close on June 27 and will recognize graduates who have earned a degree, diploma, or certificate from the College and have made significant strides in their respective fields.
The Den of Distinction Awards celebrate the lasting impact of Augusta Tech alumni who have not only excelled in their careers but have also contributed to their communities and supported the College in meaningful ways, according to a press release from Augusta Tech.
Eligibility criteria for nominations:
- Must be a former Augusta Technical College student (degree, diploma, or certificate holder)
- Demonstrated success in their professional career or industry
- Evidence of community service and impact
- Shown meaningful support for Augusta Technical College
Nominations for the awards can be submitted by anyone, including faculty, staff, students, alumni or community members. Self-nominations are also encouraged, according to a press release from Augusta Tech.
The selection committee will review all submissions, and honorees will be announced in mid-July.
The Den of Distinction celebration, originally scheduled for earlier in the year, will take place on Friday, Oct. 24, at 5:30 p.m.
