Augusta Technical College recently hosted the swearing-in ceremony for the Law Enforcement Academy’s Class 034 at the Jack B. Patrick Information Technology Center Auditorium.

The ceremony marked the conclusion of intensive training and the graduation of the journey in the law enforcement realm. Family members and friends watched as the graduates were honored and welcomed into the law enforcement fraternity. 

Graduates from the program included La’Kadrian Griffin, Ryan Krafthefer (Top Academic), Corby McIntire (Top Driver), Christopher Meyers, Raneshia Price (Top Gun), Ta-haj Smith (Class Leader), Alexandr Wahman, Trevez Walker, and Montell Walton.

“I am proud to see these graduates take this important step to a long career in law enforcement,” said Eric Snowberger, director of the law enforcement academy. “I know they will serve their communities with compassion, honor, and respect.”

The guest speaker was Marshal Ramone Lamkin from the Richmond County Marshal’s Office. Graduates will be employed at the Richmond County Police Department, Burke County Sherriff’s Department, and the City of Thomson Police Department.
