Augusta Technical College to host 2024 STEM VARiETY summer camp

Augusta Technical College will host their 2024 STEM VARiETY summer camp for middle school and high school students interested in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. 

The middle school camp for rising 6th through 8th graders will take place on June 10-13 from 8:30 a.m. through 12:45 p.m. Snacks will be provided for campers. This camp allows campers to explore, grow, and create as a part of the STEM ecosystem.

The high school camp is for rising 9th through 12th graders, and it will take place on June 24-28 from 8:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. This camp allows campers to prepare for college using creative and innovative activities and metaverse technology so that they can immerse themselves into the STEM ecosystem. 

Admittance to the camp is competitive, so it is encouraged to sign up before the deadline of Feb. 29. Both academic achievement and maturity will be considered for admittance. However, there is no specific minimum test score or GPA set by the committee. There is no cost to apply.
