Parking at Augusta University can be stressful, especially for those who are visiting for the first time. Here are some things visitors should know before visiting the campus for a smoother parking experience.
Daily parking options
Visitors can park daily in multiple areas around the university:
- Ungated surface lots (AMP Pay-to-Park): $4 per day. Scan the posted QR code to register and pay. Lots include Health Science Lots 35, 38, 61, and 69, all Summerville Campus Lots, and the Christenberry Fieldhouse.
- Health Science Campus parking deck (1505 Wrightsboro Road): $4 daily rate. Payment can be made on-site by card or mobile device.
- Cyber Center parking deck (9 Eleventh St.): $1.25 per 30 minutes, with a $7 daily maximum. Card and mobile payments are accepted.
Clinical Rotation and Student Parking
Students completing clinical rotations are assigned to Lot 38 (919 Fifteenth St.) and can choose:
- Monthly permit: $25 per 30 days, available online at augusta.aimsparking.com
- Semester permit: $50 per semester, available in person at the Parking Office in Washington Hall.
- East Georgia State College (EGSC) and Augusta Technical College students taking classes on AU campuses also have permit options:
- General Campus parking: $50 per semester for access to the Health Science Parking Deck, Summerville lots, and Christenberry Fieldhouse.
- Cyber Center parking deck: $250 per semester, purchased in person at the Parking Office.
What to know before parking
All parking permits are linked to a vehicle’s license plate. Drivers should update their vehicle information in the Parking Portal at least 24 hours before parking.
License plates must be visible from the drive lane and backing into or pulling through spaces is not permitted.
Permits are nonrefundable and not pro-rated.
A free shuttle system connects all four Augusta University campuses, and riders can use the Passio-GO app to check shuttle times and stop locations in real time.
