UPDATE: Doc’s Porchside to Replace Wild Wing Café in Grovetown and Augusta
The owners of the Wild Wing restaurants in Augusta have announced a shift toward a new concept: Doc’s Porchside. Both Wild Wing locations in the area — one at 3035 Washington Rd. and the other at 5147 Bluegrass Trl. in Grovetown — will open as Doc’s Porchside locations next month.
“The last 18 years working with Wild Wing Café holds a very special place in our hearts, and we are very proud of the work we have put in. We love our community of restaurant goers, and we can’t wait to offer them a new local experience. Today we embark on this new journey and we couldn’t be happier. We’re really excited about our new concept, Doc’s Porchside, and can’t wait for the community to see what we’ve created,” the owners wrote in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.
