Bass Pro Shop’s Augusta location is expanding to the former Comcast call center located on Top Golf Way.

Filings with Augusta-Richmond County’s Planning and Development Department reveal that the former call center location is going to be partially used by Bass Pro Shop for boat storage and service.

The location, 405 Topgolf Way, has two buildings sitting on the 7.1 acres.

A smaller warehouse building consisting of approximately 4,000 and roughly 0.24 acres of the site is to be used according to Planning and Development records. The warehouse is to be modified and used for boat service while the parking lot is to become boat storage.

Bass Pro Shop’s main location is in the same development located at 833 Cabela Drive. Bass Pro Shop acquired Cabela in 2017 for nearly $5 billon.

Local investor Rafy Bassali, purchased the former Comcast call center site earlier this year for $3.6 million in a deal brokered by Sherman & Hemstreet Real Estate Company, a local firm that specializes in commercial real estate transactions.
