Beech Island man sought for sexual assault charges against girl, 13

Aiken County authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a Beech Island man for sexual assault charges on a 13-year-old girl.

Dayzon Nakarr Padgett, 23, has previously been convicted of crimes against another 13-year-old girl. Investigators say he’s back at it.

Padgett is wanted for sexual exploitation of a minor and four counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor. The charges stem from an investigation that began on July 3. Padgett is described as a Black male, 5’8” tall, approximately 140 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair.

In the 2019 case, a mother found her 13-year-old daughter naked under the covers in Padgett’s bed in a Warrenville residence. Investigators determined the suspect and juvenile had oral sex in the bed. Padgett was given a plea bargain to reduced his charge from criminal sexual conduct to assault & battery, and a judge gave him five years of probation.He was kept off the sex offender registry with threats that he would be placed on it again if he violation probation.
