On Saturday morning, touring bouncy house group Big Bounce America brought a massive bouncy castle and other bouncy houses to the Augusta area, attracting hundreds of young guests.

Seven-year-old Kinsley Carter said while waiting in line for the giant castle, that she was expecting the inside to be “like a party.”

And Carter wasn’t far off – the 24,000 sq. ft., 32 foot tall bouncy house included inflatable climbing towers, ball pits, giant slides and basketball hoops, with a DJ hosting games and competitions.

Mary Hernandez said that the event provided a day of fun therapy for her young son, who has Downs Syndrome.

“It’s very good for his physical body, it’s basically like therapy in there. He was just amazing. Everything that he was able to do physically,” said Hernandez. “It is so much fun. The community that created this, the Big Bounce, to bring it here to the Augusta area is just awesome.”

Big Bounce America’s next stop will be at the Anderson Motor Speedway in Greenville, S.C., from May 9-11.
