The Richmond County Coroner’s Office was on the scene of a suspicious death April 19 on the 1500 block of Conklin Avenue in Augusta where a woman’s body was discovered.
“The deceased was found in the yard of a vacant residence,” Coroner Mark Bowen said.
No other information was released. If the death is ruled a homicide, it would mark the sixth in a week in Richmond County.
