Body of Deceased Male Found at Chili’s in Evans

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the body of a deceased male was discovered Monday morning at Chili’s restaurant in Evans.

The Sheriff’s Office received the call at 7:38 a.m. and arrived at 7:41 a.m. at the restaurant on Ronald Reagan Drive, where the body was found lying on the ground outside the restaurant. The male has not yet been identified and the cause of death has not been determined.

While the investigation is ongoing, the sheriff’s office says no foul play is suspected.
