Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina fans will come together to celebrate the 29th annual Border Bash on Friday, Sept. 16, at SRP Park.
This is the third year the Border Bash is happening at SRP Park after moving the event in 2019.
“The overall atmosphere of the spirit of college football, having both University of Georgia and University of South Carolina Cheerleaders and mascots here, as well as the music and fireworks at the end, “said Joe Stevenson an event promoter. It creates kind of a festive pep rally for Saturday’s big game in Columbia.”
The event will feature live music and entertainment from bands Coach, Rattlesnake Cobra Awesome, Black Dawg, Greg Hester and special guests’ appearances by Ryan Abel, Jaycie Ward and Joe Stevenson.
The event is also a fundraiser for local children’s related charities. Border Bash Foundation has raised almost a million dollars for children’s charities here in the CSRA.
Gates open at 4 p.m. with special guest Greg Hester taking the stage at 5 p.m. The event will continue until 11 p.m. Friday evening.
General admission tickets are $20 and VIP tickets are $125 on the day of the event for adults 21 and over.
