Border Bowl XIII returns to Harlem, featuring top seniors from Georgia and South Carolina

Some of the CSRA’s top high school football seniors will take the field one final time at Border Bowl XIII which will be played Saturday, Jan. 10, at Harlem High School.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 on game day, with parking available for $5 cash.

The annual all-star game brings together graduating seniors from Georgia and South Carolina to close out the high school football season while also supporting a charitable cause. Proceeds from the event benefit families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Augusta, which provides housing and support for families with children who are ill or injured and receiving hospital care.

Border Bowl XIII will showcase dozens of players from across the CSRA, including strong representation from Greenbrier, Harlem, Evans, Grovetown, Lincoln County, Thomson, Westside, Lucy C. Laney, Burke County, Warren County, and Richmond Academy. South Carolina’s roster features athletes from North Augusta, Strom Thurmond, Midland Valley, Silver Bluff, Bamberg-Ehrhardt, South Aiken, and other programs across the state.
