A section of Broad street will be closed to all traffic starting Monday for about three weeks.

Broad Street between St. Sebastian Way and 13th Street has been partially blocked for months for the ongoing streetscape overhaul of Broad and other downtown streets.

Starting Monday, however, the section will be completely closed, according to the latest update from Paquin PR. It will remain closed through Dec. 15, pending weather delays or unforeseen conditions, it said.

Fourteenth Street, which intersects Broad between St. Sebastian and 13th, will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic, it said.

“We appreciate the community’s continued patience and cooperation as we enhance safety, accessibility and the overall downtown experience for everyone,” the statement said.
