The Broadway national tour of “The Addams Family” is coming to the Columbia County Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Oct. 28, bringing its blend of macabre humor and family antics to the stage.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or at the Queensborough Box Office at the PAC, located at 1000 Market St., in Evans.
Groups of 10 or more are eligible for a 10% discount by contacting the box office directly, according to a press release by the PAC.
The story follows Wednesday Addams, “the ultimate princess of darkness,” who shocks her parents by falling in love with a kind young man from a traditional family. Her secret sets the stage for an unforgettable dinner as Gomez Addams struggles to keep the truth from Morticia.
Presented by Big League Productions, Inc., the musical is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams.
The tour arrives on the heels of the Netflix hit “Wednesday,” one of the platform’s most-watched shows, according to a press release from the PAC.
