A job fair is ongoing for Augustans looking to get involved with C4 Live’s XPR Augusta, a music and entertainment event that coincides with Masters week in April 2022.

The job fair is located at the Julian Smith Barbecue Pit at 3 Milledge Rd. Remaining times are Friday 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Applicants are encouraged to bring two copies of their resume and to dress business casual. Registration is not required.

Positions such as event coordinators, runners, bartenders, brand ambassadors, busers, waitresses, food servers, food runners, VIP runners and more are all on the table.

The goal is staffing XPR Augusta, made up of performances from Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Jimmy Buffett. This inaugural event will take place during Masters week, April 4-10.

While the jobs are geared toward this first event, C4 Live managing partner Greg Costello said the plan is that this event is the first of many in Augusta.

“Three weeks after this event, we’ll have XPR Soul, the soul festival,” he said. “That’s only three weeks later and that will be a lot more locally and regionally driven. We’ll be looking to hire for that, and we want to do something in October.”

C4 is advertising competitive pay — hourly rates ranging from $13 to $35 per hour — and the jobs are expected to go fast.

While hospitality, entertainment and nightlife experience are preferred, individuals seeking opportunities to break into the industry are welcome, C4 said in a press release.

“We’re going to be doing this event here every year, so it’ll be a better experience every year as we get bigger and better,” Costello said. “We’re totally overhauling the stadium. If you’ve been here before, you’ll be very surprised how it looks.”
