  • The Richmond County Board of Education will meet for a called board meeting for the 1st public hearing on the fiscal year 2025 budget at 5 p.m. in the Board Room auditorium at the Central Office 
  • The Richmond County Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. in the Board Room auditorium at the Central Office.

  • The Columbia County School District will hold a job fair from 5 – 7 p.m. at the CCSD Support Department Complex on Riverwatch Parkway. Hiring is currently open for all positions, from certified educators and paraprofessionals to school bus drivers, nutrition assistants, custodians and more. Representatives from each department will be on hand to answer questions and conduct on-site interviews. Computers will be available for candidates to complete an online application. Friday, Oct. 11

  • Zoso, the Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience, will perform at Miller Theater. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. Zoso formed in the mid-90s and have played over 4500 shows since then. They try to play as similarly as possible to the original band. This is part of their latest tour. Zoso is currently celebrating 29 years of being a Led Zeppelin tribute band.
