  • The Richmond County Board of Elections will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. in the Linda Beazley Room of the Municipal Building, 535 Telfair St.  
  • The Richmond County Board of Assessors will hold its regular session at 4 p.m. in the Augusta Richmond County Municipal Building, Room 291.

Tuesday, April 15

  • The Columbia County Board of Elections will meet for its regular meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the Board of Elections office. For more information, visit columbiacountyga.gov

Wednesday, April 16

  • As part of the Brown Bag History Lecture Series, Phil Wahl will speak at the Augusta Museum of History at 12:30 p.m. on his unique upbringing at the Augusta National Golf Club. His father, Phillip Wahl, Sr. was the General Manager of the AugustaNational from 1963 to 1978. The lecture is free to Museum members and $5 for non-members, no registration required. Participants may bring a lunch to enjoy in the Museum Rotunda and the AMH will provide water, hot coffee and a dessert. Lunch can begin as early as 11:30 a.m. The lecture takes place in the History Theater at 12:30 p.m. with a short Q&A following.

  • The Augusta Charter Review Committee will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the commission chambers at the Municipal Building. 
  • The Augusta Commission’s study committee on residential building meets at 1 p.m. Monday at the Augusta Municipal Building, either in Room 291 or the Linda Beazley Community Room. The committee will review policies, procedures and codes.

Tuesday, April 22

  • The Augusta Commission has a special called meeting at 11 a.m. Tuesday to hold an executive session to discuss personnel, real estate and litigation.
