Proceeds from tickets will benefit Golden Harvest Food Bank, and audience members can bring a nonperishable food item on the night of the show.   • The North Augusta Christmas Tree Lighting will be from 5-7pm. at Calhoun Park & Lookaway Inn.
  • The McDuffie County School system is hosting a recruitment fair from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the central office (716 N. Lee St. in Thomson). Walk-ins are welcome; however, anyone interested in attending is encouraged to schedule an appointment beforehand by calling Amber Howard at 706-986-4000. Applications will be available on site, and participants should bring copies of their résumé and any other pertinent documentation.
