Monday, Nov. 10

  • The Columbia County Board of Elections will meet at 10 a.m. the Appling Warehouse, 205 Range Road, building L, in Appling to to review and certify the Nov. 4 Municipal and Special Elections results.
  • City of Grovetown will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Veterans Park, 103 Old Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown. For more information, visit the Grovetown Leisure and Recreation Facebook page.
  • Charles Bowen will be at Augusta University at 1 p.m. to read from his book about World War II titled “Paladin.” Charles is a former journalist and businessman. The talk will be in AH E156, just across from the COMM office.
  • The Richmond County Board of Assessors will hold its regular session at 4 pm. in the Augusta Richmond County Municipal Building, Room 291.

  • The Augusta Commission has a called meeting and committee meetings that begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Lee Beard Commission Chamber at Augusta Municipal Building, 535 Telfair St. For meeting agendas visit augustaga.gov.
