Columbia County Board of Education members will hear an update on its comprehensive building plan during the Board of Education work session on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
After this meeting, a series of public information sessions will be held to garner feedback on proposed improvements for buildings throughout the school district.
“The building program, led by input from the community, provides a guide for much-needed modernization and upgrades to existing schools and will benefit every school,” said the school district in a press release. “Funding, through the continuation of E-SPLOST and passage of general obligation (GO) bonds is needed in order for the district to address needs identified in the comprehensive building program.”
