Augusta Metro Chamber’s Meet.Mingle.Merry. Scheduled for Dec. 2
Join the Augusta Metro Chamber at 901 Greene Street for an evening of networking, food and holiday fun. 901 Greene Street will host the Chamber and its members for Meet.Mingle.Merry from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2.
This holiday edition of Meet.Mingle.Mesh. offers the opportunity to make new connections and industry partners, mingle with business community professionals and come together for success while celebrating the holiday season.
Located in downtown Augusta near the business, dining, shopping and entertainment district, the newly renovated 901 Greene St. is a venue for private parties, corporate events, workshops, offsite conferences, networking groups, keynote speakers, and much more.
Meet.Mingle.Merry. is complimentary for Chamber members and $25 for prospective members. Advanced registration is required. Register by Monday, Nov. 29. Augusta Metro Chamber presents Best in Business Awards on Dec. 8
The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce will present the Best In Business awards on Dec. 8.
The annual Augusta’s Entrepreneur and Corporation of the Year awards honor the individuals and companies who have distinguished themselves in business and commitment to the Greater Augusta region.
Honorees will be recognized at the Augusta Metro Chamber Member Economic Luncheon. The Entrepreneur of the Year award is presented by SouthState Bank. The Corporation of the Year is presented by Georgia Power.
The guest speaker will be Allen Fox. He currently serves as the director of Small Business Outreach at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. He previously served as the director of Creative Industry Partnerships, working with Georgia’s thriving music, film and digital entertainment industries.
Prior to his work with GDEcD, Allen was a senior consultant in the private sector, specializing in corporate solutions for many Fortune 500 companies, including IHG and UPS. He also worked in public affairs, leading corporate coalitions devoted to pro-business legislation and initiatives.
The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Oglethorpe Ballroom at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center. The deadline to register is Dec. 6.

Columbia County Chamber’s Pre-Legislative Breakfast
Join the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce for the Legislative Breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion.
The keynote speaker will be Bryan Tyson. The event is sponsored by AT&T.
The cost is $20 for members and $40 for non-members.
