Club Car has extended its relationship with St Andrews Links by delivering a new fleet of golf and utility vehicles.

The Scottish venue upgraded its golf and utility vehicles for the operation of its seven public courses, including the Old Course, which is a 30-time Open Championship venue.

“We pride ourselves on working with the very best,” said Danny Campbell, commercial director for St Andrews Links. “Since Club Car became an official supplier in 2016, they have provided the highest quality of vehicles and service support.”

The new Club Car fleet provide a range of benefits to the St Andrews Links team. While golf vehicles transport players safely and comfortably around the links, the utility vehicles are used by the course ranger team and media staff, who frequently shuttle equipment and VIP guests around the site for filming.

The fleet also includes a six and eight seater transporter models used to transport golfers between the Links Clubhouse, Old Pavilion and Old Course first tee.

Each car is equipped with technology that will allow for the St Andrews Links team to monitor the conditions of the golf carts.

“Club Car is proud of the strong relationship we have with the St Andrews Links team supporting the largest public golf complex in Europe,” said Andy Bourke, Club Car regional manager for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. “Over the last eight years and it has been a pleasure to provide  first-class service, our unmatched products and technology to help them deliver a unique and memorable experience to thousands of golfers each year.”
