In honor of Earth Day, Club Car®, a global leader in golf, consumer and utility vehicles, is celebrating a significant sustainability milestone through a recent partnership with the University of Nebraska.

The collaboration introduced a custom-built, all-electric Club Car Carryall, advancing the university’s environmental goals while showcasing Club Car’s commitment to electrification.

The project, recently featured in Nebraska Today, represents a strategic move toward fleet electrification in university landscape services, according to a press release from Club Car.

The electric Carryall is projected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 83% compared to its gas or diesel counterparts.

Beyond cutting emissions, the vehicle also helps decrease noise pollution on campus — a win for both the environment and campus life, according to a press release from Club Car.

Designed with practicality and performance in mind, the all-electric utility vehicle includes an onboard charging system that keeps the fleet powered throughout the day. This technology enables landscape teams to use electric trimmers, blowers, and other devices with ease, supporting the university’s broader adoption of battery-operated tools.

“We’re excited to partner on purpose-built products that make daily work tasks easier and support long-term sustainability,” said Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Club Car, Jeff Tyminski. “We appreciate the opportunity to work with the University of Nebraska team to help advance their next phase of environmental leadership.”

This Earth Day spotlight emphasizes how Club Car is driving change by helping customers transition to cleaner, smarter mobility options, according to a press release from Club Car.
