Club Car has recently joined with JR Motorsports as the primary partner for Sam Mayer and the No. 1 team for the NASCAR Xfinity Series event in Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 2.

“Our Club Car family of customers, dealers, and employees were excited to witness the Black and Gold Spirit on display by Sam Mayer and the No. 1 team at the Las Vegas Speedway today,” says Jeff Tyminski, vice president of marketing and production management for Club Car. “While we had hopes for a No. 1 finish, JR Motorsports, Sam Mayer and the No. 1 team represented what is best about the Club Car brand — the dedication and commitment of the team to build and be the best. That is why we are proud to have been able to support the team for this race.”

Club Car is the industry leader in innovation design in golf cars, commercial utility vehicles, and personal-use transportation. They are headquartered in Augusta and boast a 60-plus-year history.

“The enthusiastic response to our partnership with JR Motorsports was energizing. We look forward to opportunities to build deeper relationships with those who know Club Car and introduce ourselves to others,” says Tyminski. “This collaboration was great!”

Mayer, 20, is a native of Franklin, Wis, and he entered 2024 with a career-best season with four wins and a third-place finish in the NXS championship. He and the No. 1 Club Car Chevrolet Team retired early from the LiUNA!  at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway after sustaining vehicle damage.
