CNTA and SRNS celebrate partnership at annual membership appreciation night

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) has recently donated $35,000 to Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness (CNTA) during the annual Membership Appreciation Night. 

SRNS has partnered and donated $536,000 to CNTA over the past few years. 

“SRNS is an organization focused on integrity, teamwork, customer satisfaction, safety, and security,” said Marth Ruthven, SRNS community relations specialist. “With emphasis on embracing change and investing in people, SRNS employees believe in the importance of giving back to their community. CNTA’s mission and values align with those of SRNS, and we are proud to partner with such a long-standing community partner.” 

CNTA is a non-profit organization that advocates for the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site (SRS) and nuclear technologies. They provide information on the value of nuclear technology, and resources are assigned to education or nuclear industry topics. 

CNTA Board has 31 board members, and the seven representing SRNS includes Booboo Roberts, SRNS Regional Technical School loaned executive and the deputy program manager of Apprenticeship and Pipeline Training Programs, James Angelos, SRNS senior vice present NNSA Pu Programs, Jesus Mancilla, SRNS deputy manager for K Area Complex Nuclear and Criticality Safety Engineering and CNTA board of directors vice-chair, Lindsey MonBarren, SRNS lead communications specialist for Environmental Management Operations and CNTA communications committee chair, Natalia Johnson, SRNS Environmental Biossay Laboratory manager, Nick Miller, SRNS deputy vice president of Environmental Management Operations; and Susie Ferrara, SRNS Cold War History Preservation Program manager.
