For those getting back into the regular habit of dining out, the week of Jan. 25 provides an
opportunity to save money and win a weekend getaway.
The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and Columbia County Convention and Visitors
Bureau are partnering with the Glamping Company and 15 plus restaurants in Columbia County.
“Our goal with Restaurant Week is to highlight some of the amazing local establishments that
call Columbia County home,” said Shelly Blackburn, executive director of the Columbia County
Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We want to encourage local citizens and visitors to discover
new, fresh flavors and rediscover old favorites.”

“We are proud to support and highlight the importance of the entire local restaurant community,
particularly during this time,” said Russell Lahodny, president/CEO of the Columbia County
Chamber. The current list of participating restaurants and their specials can be found at
ColumbiaCountyEats.com.
Highlights include fine dining restaurants like Cadwalders and Cork ‘N Flame. Fast food eateries
like Wife Savers on Furys Ferry Road are also providing extra value like a free medium banana
pudding with purchase of a family meal.
Follow Columbia County Restaurant Week on Facebook for up-to-date information on the event.
Diners are encouraged to post pictures of their dining experience and use the hashtag #ColumbiaCountyEats.
Doing so will enter them in for a chance to win a two-night weekend stay from the Georgia
Glamping Company.
If the last week of January does not fit into your schedule or budget, a local free app to,
“Pinpoint Savings,” offers information about current discounts. The app was created by local
sales executive Billy Cristofanelli and his partner.

Some 14,000 Augustans have signed up for the Pinpoint Savings since the launch in May 2016.
“Pinpoint Savings has just recently launched the addition of coupons for Diablo’s Southwest
Grill, Alumni Cookie Dough and El Toro Taqueria. We are excited for 2021 and the prospects of
adding additional restaurants to the app,” said Cristofanelli.
Currently 25 local restaurants offer free coupons on the app like….buy one get one free shake
anytime at Culver’s in Grovetown.
“Everyone likes to save money, period! Pinpoint Savings was created to give people the
opportunity to save money throughout the CSRA. It accomplishes this with a free and easy to use
app that features coupons for local restaurants and businesses,” added the co-founder.
Two options to save money eating out during Restaurant Week Jan. 25 to 29 or throughout the
entire year.
