Drivers on Hardy McManus Road should expect temporary lane closures later this month as Columbia County, in cooperation with Reeves Construction Company, conducts right-of-way clearing along the roadway.

The county announced that one lane will be closed between William Few Parkway and Halali Farm Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, and Tuesday, Nov. 25, weather permitting.

Another lane closure for the same work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, also weather permitting, according to a press release from Columbia County.

County officials remind drivers to slow down when approaching work zones, leave extra space between vehicles, watch for warning signs, obey road crew flaggers and expect the unexpected.

Motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes or allow additional commuting time during the closures.
