Spreading gospel music to the South, Josh Turner is bringing his Greatest Hits Tour to Evans on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.

With a global reach that has surpassed almost 6 billion streams, Turner’s tour will include timeless music with songs like “Long Black Train” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance.”

A native of South Carolina and father of four sons, over the years, Turner has celebrated three nominations for the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, and won his first GMA Dove Award in 2021, according to a press release from the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.

Over the years, Turner has also been nominated for two GRAMMY Awards, five Country Music Association Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, one Country Music Television Award, seven American Country Awards and has received six Inspirational Country Music Awards.

“To support music and arts education, he created The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund to help students pursue their studies in these fields,” stated a press release from the CCPAC.

Tickets prices will depend on seating and will range from $49.50 to $89.50.

Tickets can be purchased at the Queensborough Box Office at the center – located at 1000 Market St. in Evans, Ga. – or online through Ticketmaster at https://www.ticketmaster.com/josh-turner-evans-georgia-02-02-2024/event/0E005F88A01F2816?CAMEFROM=CFC_COLUMBIA_COUNTY_WEB_VEN_JT020224
