The Columbia County Chamber hopes to recruit new members to their society with a New Member Meeting Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The focus of the meeting is to educate about the chamber’s history, to expound on the benefits of membership and for members to connect with one another. This is also a chance to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, events, and advocacy efforts.
A tutorial will be provided to show how to access the member’s website portal as well, which is used to swap contact information, post job listings and see new announcements.
The Chamber’s goal is to cultivate business growth and forge connections among business owners and community members to grow the economy of Augusta. The Columbia County Chamber has more than 1,000 members and is one of 103 chambers to be 5-Star Accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
