During the weeks of Aug. 24–31, a total of 57 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included four cases of simple battery, as well as five cases of identity fraud, three cases of criminal trespassing and 21 cases of larceny were reported.
