During the weeks of Aug. 3–10, a total of 53 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included four cases of simple battery, as well as two cases of stalking, three cases of identity fraud, two cases of criminal trespassing and 11 cases of larceny were reported.
