The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect who fled a traffic stop as Emmanuel Clarke. He has not been located. He is wanted in connection with traffic violations and is not considered dangerous, according to the sheriff’s office Facebook page.

Multiple Columbia County deputies are involved in a manhunt with a heavy presence at the intersection of Washington Road and William Few Parkway as of 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Steve Morris with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed deputies are searching for an individual who fled the scene of a traffic stop on foot.

According to the department’s Facebook page, deputies are searching for a black male who was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt and black pants.
