Columbia County Fire Rescue to hold annual boot drive

Columbia County Fire Rescue will hold its annual boot drive this weekend and next weekend.

Firefighters will be at Mullins Colony, the Kroger on Lewiston Road, the Evans Walmart, the Furys Ferry Road Neighborhood Walmart and the Grovetown Walmart collecting donations for two organizations, Columbia County Community Connections and the Burn Foundation of America.

Firefighters will be out May 1-3 and May 8-10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. They will be outside with boots for people to donate money.
