The Haverhill delays will involve intermittent lane closures on Haverhill Drive, Derry Court, Tipton Court and Carlene Drive. River Island Parkway will also have intermittent delays as well as work on the road shoulder.

The closures will run from Jan. 5 to Jan. 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Delays are likely, according to a press release from the county offices.

Residents of both areas are asked to remove trash cans and vehicles parked along the road.

Dust will be likely as the roads will be cleaned as part of the work.

The press release advises drivers to slow down when the approach a work zone, add extra distance between vehicles, obey crew flaggers and watch for warning signs. It also suggests that drivers take alternate routes and/or allow extra time when commuting along construction areas.
