Columbia County Parks, Recreation & Events has recently announce an upcoming “Dancing with the Stars” event, a free celebration designed to bring people together through the joy of dance.
The community event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Windsor Room at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center, located at 1000 Market St., in Evans, Ga.
This inclusive event invites individuals of all abilities to come together and experience the fun of self-expression through dance, according to a press release from Columbia County.
A DJ will be playing popular dance hits throughout the evening, and light refreshments will also be available to create a welcoming space for socializing and dancing.
“This event is a chance to embrace the joy of movement and celebrate community spirit,” said Janet Wheatley, Programs and Events manager. “We invite everyone to join us for a memorable evening filled with fun and connection.”
“Dancing with the Stars” is free to attend and open for those 16 years and older, but registration is required for each participant as space is limited.
