Columbia county schools to implement COVID-19 precautions

Date: January 05, 2022

Columbia County announced it Monday afternoon that was implementing mitigating strategies due to an increase in positive cases of COVID-19 cases

“Adherence to these strategies will allow us the best opportunity to continue in-person instruction,” the announcement stated.

Those strategies include, among others, social distancing, frequent cleaning of high traffic areas, handwashing, encouraging use of masks (masks required for five days for those who return to school after isolating due to a positive COVID-19 test), required quarantine for six days for those who test positive and encourage vaccinations.
