Columbia County is going to hold three public hearings regarding the homestead exemption.
The three public hearings regarding possibly opting out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption will be held:
- Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.
All three will be held in the auditorium at the Evans Government Center, located at 630 Ronald Reagan Building A.
Community members are invited to attend and voice their thoughts on the possibility of the county opting out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption.
