On Nov. 7, Columbia County Performing Arts Center is scheduled to host the former head of the Pentagon’s UFO Investigation Unit, for a discussion on humanity’s greatest existential questions.
Luis “Lue” Elizondo is a former senior intelligence official and counterintelligence special agent who recruited into a strange and highly sensitive U.S. government program to investigate unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) incursions into military installations and air space.
Elizondo’s live theater event, “Universal Truth, The Evidence is Clea: We Are Not Alone,” will center around revealing long-hidden truths with profound implications for not only national security but our understanding of the universe.
Renowned theoretical physicist Michio Kaku recently praised Elizondo’s work saying he has “done a public service” by releasing a “mountain of classified data, which gives us hard members for the first time,” according to a CCPAC press release.
“To accomplish his mission, Elizondo had to rely on decades of experience gained working some of America’s most sensitive and classified programs,” stated a press release from the CCPAC. “Even then, he was not prepared for what he would learn, and the truth about the government’s long shadowy involvement in UAP investigations, and the lengths officials would take to keep them a secret.”
In addition to several media appearances, Elizondo’s new book, “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs,” published in August, had quickly become a NY Times best-seller.
“Imminent” is a first-hand, revelatory account inside the Pentagon’s most closely guarded secret and a call to action to confront humanity’s greatest existential questions.
“Elizondo’s focus is to champion government transparency, including but not limited to, disclosure of UAP’s in a meaningful way to ensure accountability and honesty within governments, and effect positive change for society,” stated a press release from the CCPAC.
With the belief that truth and transparency are the best approaches for a collaborative future, Elizondo’s work is deliberate and calculated, with the goal to challenge current mindsets and policies in order to enable joint efforts across all governments, people, institutions, organizations, academia and scientific communities.
“Success of this endeavor is only possible with the help of our global citizens and the courage of those within our governments to demand and champion truth,” stated a press release from the CCPAC.
Open to the public and hosted at the CCPAC, located at 1000 Market St., show tickets will go on sale online on Friday, Sept. 27.
