Graduation rates for the Class of 2025 were released this week, highlighting how Columbia and Richmond County schools performed for the previous school year.
According to the Columbia County School District, CCSD posted a 92.96% graduation rate. That is nearly six points higher than the statewide average of 87.2%.
The Richmond County School System also released its graduation rate, holding steady at 81.7%. The district reported historic highs for several schools and special education students.
Columbia County
Columbia County’s overall rate ranked among the best in Georgia. Greenbrier High School led the county at 97.85%, followed by Lakeside at 93.21%.
Evans High recorded 92.93%, Harlem reached 91.81%, and Grovetown finished with 89.07%. Each school contributed to the district’s overall success for the Class of 2025.
Richmond County
Richmond County’s graduation rate remained strong at 81.7%. Westside High School posted the largest single-year increase, climbing more than seven points to 84.25%.
Hephzibah High reached 84.43%, setting a school record and marking its third consecutive year of growth. Butler and Laney also showed year-over-year improvement.
The district reported a historic 75.7% graduation rate for special education students. A.R. Johnson, Davidson Fine Arts, and Richmond Technical Career Magnet maintained perfect 100% graduation rates.
