Community meetings to happen this week

The Richmond County Board of Education will have community meetings this week regarding the proposed changes to the school district. 

There will be a meeting Monday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Belair K-8, 3925 Harper Franklin Ave., Augusta. 

There will also be a meeting Tuesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at the Board of Education Building, 864 Broad St., Augusta.

The community are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings to stay informed and participate in the discussion. 

The Board of Education will vote on the proposed changes for the next school year on Tuesday, March 19 at 6 p.m.
