The Styx concert is one of several that have recently been added to the Bell’s fall schedule. While there are a couple of events slated for spring such as the Deana Carter concert on March 26 and the Eighth Annual Blues Festival scheduled for April 8, most of them are slated for the late summer and fall.

Other upcoming concerts include country artist Cody Jinks, Aug. 20; Eric Benet, Aug. 28; singer and ventriloquist Darci Lynne on Sept. 11 and America’s 50th anniversary tour on Sept. 18.

A Broadway at the Bell series is currently not part of the lineup.

“We continue to look at every show opportunity that makes sense financially for the complex and maximizes economic impact for Augusta. This includes Broadway and other stage shows,” Bird said.

In Evans, Mike Deas has been working to reschedule many of his events with Augusta Amusements at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center. The Beach Boys’ tribute band, Sail On, did play in February, but according to Deas, most of the spring events have been pushed to fall or into 2022.

The next Augusta Amusements event will be EmiSunshine Friday, May 7. She’s currently competing in American Idol. She performed a duet with Alex Miller on March 21 and made it through to the next round.
