A Broadway series is also in the works for the new Columbia County Performing Arts Center, according to its general manager Matt Jameson.

“We plan for a season announced towards the beginning of August,” he wrote in an email July 15.

Mike Deas plans to keep the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center near the Columbia County Performing Arts Center busy with his slate of performers starting in September.

Deas, who books concerts and tribute shows through Augusta Amusements, said most of his line-up for the fall and winter is comprised of events that were repeatedly postponed in 2020.
