Congressman Rick W. Allen (GA-12) has announced internship opportunities in his Washington, D.C. office for the upcoming spring semester.
“Our internship program gives young professionals the opportunity to learn firsthand about the legislative process while helping serve our constituents in Georgia’s 12th District,” said Allen in a press release.
This opportunity is for college students and young professionals interested in learning more about how the U.S. government legislative process works. Candidates will have multiple responsibilities such as answering phone calls, legislative writing, attending policy briefings and much more.
The internship will provide a great learning experience for those interested to learn how to network with individuals and a possibility to learn earn school credit.
“An internship is a great way to network and build skills that help equip our future workforce as they begin their professional careers,” Allen said. Participants are encouraged to apply no later than Friday, Nov. 12. Application information can be found on Allen’s website.
