The Richmond County Coroner’s office is investigating the death of an inmate at the Richmond County Correctional Institute.
On Tuesday, Stuart Martin, 49, of Bethlehem, Ga. died in the Tobacco Road prison’s recreational area, according to an email from Coroner Mark Bowen.
He was pronounced dead at 5:15 p.m. An autopsy has been scheduled.
