During the week of Dec. 31 – Jan. 7, a total of 69 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included five case of battery and four aggravated assaults.
No cases of forgery, four cases of criminal trespass and 18 cases of larceny were reported.
