During the week of Dec. 3 – Dec. 12, a total of 62 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included one case of assault and seven cases of battery
Seven cases of forgery, eight cases of criminal trespass and 26 cases of larceny were reported.
