During the week of July 12 – July 18, a total of 210 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Violent crimes included a total of 71 cases of assault. Eight of those were classified as aggravated assaults, and 21 as family violence.

Property crimes included 5 burglaries, 41 cases of property damage, and 88 cases of various thefts.
